Cookies and browser storage
Last updated:
UnifyDesk uses cookies and browser local storage. Sign-in cookies are used when you sign in to the app or portal; simply browsing the site does not create them.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies support authentication, security or an action you request. They do not depend on analytics consent and are not disabled by rejecting optional cookies.
__Host-ud_s- Staff sign-in session.
__Host-ud_p- Customer portal sign-in session.
__Host-ud_kd- Recognizes a device after a completed sign-in for sign-in security checks.
__Host-ud_o- Temporary browser binding during provider sign-in.
__Secure-ud_x- Short-lived authorization for downloading a requested data export.
These cookies are marked Secure and HttpOnly: they are sent over HTTPS and are not readable by page JavaScript.
Necessary local storage
cookie_consent_v1- Remembers your choice: accepted or rejected. This is not a cookie. The choice stays in local storage until changed or cleared.
currentOrganizationId/currentWorkspaceId- In the staff app, remember the selected organization and workspace. These local-storage keys are not analytics cookies.
Optional analytics
The analytics provider is configurable: none by default, PostHog or Plausible. The banner appears only when a usable provider is configured. Optional analytics on the public site require your consent.
When PostHog is configured and accepted, it manages its analytics identifier storage. Automatic interaction capture and session recording are disabled. The site does not send an account identity to analytics.
Change your choice
Use “Cookie preferences” in the footer or the button below to clear the saved choice and reopen the banner if analytics are configured. You can then accept or reject. Rejecting or withdrawing consent stops analytics events; if PostHog is loaded, its identity is reset and capture is opted out. Dismissing the banner with its close button counts as rejection.
